Tarnish is bad

Do you read the Art Bead Scene blog? If you don't, you should. Collaborative blogs are cool! Anyway, one of the writers, Virginia Miska has shared a great tip for removing tarnish from your jewelry in a non-toxic way.

On the topic of tarnish, I have a little tip to add. Keep your sterling silver things in an airtight container. Long ago when I sold at craft shows, I would keep all my carded jewelry in Rubbermaid containers. The jewelry only came out during the show and went promptly back into the box if it didn't sell. I still have some of that jewelry, in the same containers and it's as shiny as 5 years ago. No joke!
The airtight containers are not glamorous, but it sure beats the hassle of cleaning jewelry!
